Ease Stress with Music

from Clipart.com

Music is often an allurement in which people can de-stress, relax, get energized, become motivated, or lift a down-trodden mood.

If you and your spouse feel this way about music, consider having music playing as soon as you come home from work. Set a timer so the music starts about the time you or your spouse usually arrive home. It might be just the thing you need to leave a day’s work behind you and refocus on having the enjoyment of your spouse and family.

Don’t feel you have to play elevator music to de-stress. That sends many people over the edge into full-blown neurosis. Whatever appeals to you and gives you the end result you’re looking for, that’s what you should set to play—whether that’s classical, country, hip-hop, reggae, Latin, nature, rock, jazz, or opera.

What do you think? Would hearing music at the transition from a long day to home life help you or just drive you nuts?
