Let’s Do It Together

With Valentine’s Day always in the coldest part of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, people often need a way to unwind and de-stress. How about this Valentine’s Day you and your sweetie try a Swedish Massage together?

Before I go any further, I have to admit that this tip is different because it’s something we’ve never tried. However, we have lots of friends and a few relatives who love these, so we may just have to try it for ourselves.

I checked a place in our own town, The Tanning Bare, Havasu’s Full Service Tanning and Massage Therapy Salon, to find out a bit more about these. A Swedish massage is usually a light massage to promote relaxation and release tension.

During the month of February, many spas (including the one I checked on) run a couple’s special for which there are two masseuses so that both spouses can get a massage at the same time. They also use aromatherapy candles and oils.

Prices for these are going to vary on whether you go to a day spa, a resort, and in which part of the country you live.

It sounds like a great way to unwind for Valentine’s Day and work out all the sore muscles from shoveling snow.

What do you think? Have you ever had a massage? What do you think of a couple’s massage at your local spa?
