New Year’s Resolutions Now

But, It’s Not Yet Christmas

So, why talk about New Year’s resolutions?

Is having more fun in marriage a goal of yours?

Each New Year is one of the most eventful times for making goals and trying to set new patterns. Everyone intends to do better, but how many keep those new-found resolutions?

One of the best ways to follow-through for the new year is to establish your goals early.

During the last part of the year, start doing at least a tiny part (if not all) of each goal you are wanting to accomplish for the following year.

When January 1 rolls around, you won’t be initializing new ideas, you’ll already be on the road of new achievements which will give you immense encouragement to keep going.

All marriages can find ways to improve and have more fun. Having fun as a couple is one of the most special ways to feel closer to each other.

Take small steps to make marriage more fun—without trying too much at once. It’s like they say, “it takes 21 days to make or break a habit.” Work on one fun idea or improvement for a whole month. Let it sink in. Taking it slow means you will make permanent changes, and if you do one thing per month, that’s 12 things you’ll make better this next year.
