Cook a Meal Together

December3

Tip 217

Wear Nice Aprons

Plan out an engaging dinner for just the two of you. Keep it simple, but make it elegant or something you love but rarely have for a meal.

If you don’t know how to cook, you’ll have to make it simple so that you can prepare the meal yourselves, just the two of you—maybe just a salad and trays of fruit, if neither of you know how to cook.

Don’t neglect the table setting. Make it very romantic. Since this isn’t a family dinner, you’d want your children to be at their friends’ house or at Grandma’s.

Buy two old fashioned aprons to wear—the full length kind that kept people’s clothes from getting messed up while cooking.

For a really fun evening, wear your aprons for preparing the meal, but you don’t have to worry about getting your clothes messed up, you are just wearing your aprons. . . .

How do you cook romantic dinners together? If you don’t cook, what’s your style of having a romantic meal? You can tell us in the comment section below. We’d love to hear from you.
