Cuddly Cats and Bears

Tip 179

Save Your Marriage through Cuddling

  • Are you a “cuddler?”
  • Do you hate cuddling?

I haven’t done any technical, double-blind research on this question, but to tally the few couples I have asked this question, it seems 50% of the people like cuddling and 50% of the people hate cuddling—well, hate cuddling once they are ready to go to sleep for the night. Fifty-fifty isn’t a bad ratio.

Only trouble is that 50/50 percent of like and don’t like are always married to each other!

Of course I think everyone likes cuddling sometimes—just not when it’s time to go to sleep for the night.

So one spouse wants to cuddle and one spouse wants to sleep “completely alone” sprawled, taking up the whole bed, or curled in a tight ball hanging onto the smallest inch on one side of the bed with one foot sticking out of the covers.

So, what do you do for the poor spouse who desperately wants to snuggle and cuddle and the other spouse hates cuddling when it’s time to sleep?

There’s a perfect answer made just for these situations. Check out Cuddly Cats and Bears on the Wind and Weather.com site.

You can choose a large, almost human-length bear or cat that fits perfectly next to any person who wants something to wrap himself or herself around. It fits into the bed nicely (doesn’t growl or scratch) and everyone (including the “non-cuddler”) can sleep perfectly.

Have fun choosing which one you want—oh, and right now they are on sale on the link I gave, but I don’t know how long that sale will last.

Night night. Sleep tight and don’t let the bed bugs bite. EEWWW! I’ve used that expression my whole life but considering all the news reports of late, I don’t think I’ll ever say it again.

What’s the cuddling quotient in your household? Are you both cuddlers? Non-cuddlers? 50/50 cuddlers?
