Become a Romantic Poet

from Clipart.com

OK, maybe it’s not as easy as just saying you are a romantic poet to actually be a romantic poet.

One thing you can do though is to go to the library and find some romantic poetry that you like. Check the copyright laws, but for many of the poems, you can copy them in your own hand and give the copy to your spouse all throughout the year. Some poems are old enough to be allowed for public use.

You might even make your own handmade paper and copy the poem onto the handmade paper. Or you can buy paper in craft shops that looks handmade.

Or to be really special, memorize the poem(s) to recite to your mate.

Have you ever recited a poem to your mate? Do you have a favorite poet?
