Love Yourself

Tip # 114

You Heard That Right

Learn to love yourself. If you can’t love yourself, how can anyone else love you? Now, we’re not talking about over-the-top narcissist love of self.

I wouldn’t mind being perfect–in something or some way, but I’m not, and it will never happen. No one is perfect! I try to do the best with what I have and I’m proud of me (most days). . . .

from Clipart.com

When you constantly beat yourself up for your hair, the shape of your ears, how big your nose is, how big/little your posterior is or say things like “I’m no good,” “I’m a nothing,” “I haven’t achieved anything of merit in life.” Oh, give me something to wretch into. Honestly.

The more you can accept yourself and work to change the things you can change and should try to change, the more loveable and likeable you will be to people around you. If you love yourself, you will feel more comfortable in your marriage relationship and you’ll have more fun. And, you don’t have to be a blond to have more fun (for those people who remember that hair color commercial).
