Watching TV

Tip # 9

Couch Potato Night

from Clipart.com

On a night you plan to watch a rented movie or pay-per-view or something on DVR or DVD or special TV shows, make it into a fun evening. Much better to make a fun night of it instead of one with two people blankely staring in the same direction. There can be advantages to watching TV.

If you have a sleeper sofa, pull it out and watch the movie with pillows, covers, and popcorn. No sleeper sofa? Throw some blankets on the floor and make a palette with pillows. Snuggle while watching the movie or TV shows.

Make it a time of more than just watching a movie or TV show. Make it a time to be close to one another. You liked sitting close, arm in arm at the movies when you were dating, didn’t you? Make it a treat to watch a movie or TV show at home instead of just something routine that’s done to pass the time away.
